Pricing FAQ
Can I use Ownly Home for free?
Yes. Home Free is a real free plan with no card required. It includes manual tracking for up to 100 items, 5 rooms, 10 reminders, and 100 MB of storage.
How does the Business trial work?
Business signup saves your setup first, then opens Stripe Checkout. A payment method is required. The trial lasts 7 days and billing begins afterward unless you cancel first.
Why are AI scans limited during the Business trial?
Trial workspaces can use up to 5 AI scans total. The cap gives you enough room to test the workflow while keeping automated usage predictable before billing begins.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancellation stops the subscription from renewing. Home workspaces that fit the Free limits continue on Free indefinitely. If a workspace holds more than Free allows it is paused instead of deleted: you can still sign in to export, resubscribe, or trim back, and we email you twice before the 90-day deadline. Business workspaces require an active subscription to keep Business access.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can download your whole account as a ZIP — every record as a spreadsheet plus every file you uploaded — or just your items as a CSV. Ownly is meant to organize your records, not trap them.
Do you delete accounts that are not used?
Yes, and we tell you first. A signup that never confirms its email is removed after 7 days, an account that is never filled in after 90 days, and one holding records after 24 months without a sign-in. We email you 30 days and 7 days beforehand, and simply signing in resets the clock. Paying accounts are never closed this way.
Are add-ons subscriptions?
No. AI scan packs and storage packs are one-time purchases. Scan credits do not expire, and storage packs permanently increase the workspace allowance.
